FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor testing facilities. SUBSTANCE: stand for checking stressed state of conveyor grooved belt has bed frame, length of belt, loose load placed on belt, measuring instruments, two belt-to- bed frame fastening units, and tensioning device. One fastening unit is made in form of plain horizontal table, and other, in form of downward curved frame with vertical wall which are secured on post of slider for shifting is coupled with bed frame by means of tension screw with dynamometer, and sides of belt in span between fastening units are provided with clamps coupled with bed frame by helical springs. Springs are furnished with rules with calibrated divided scales for detecting cross tensions of belt along span length, and length of table is chosen with due account of free slope of load on belt. Pitch of helical springs over length of belt span corresponds to distance between running rolls of conveyor with overhead belt under investigation. Length of belt section is greater that distance between belt-to-bed frame fastening units. Stand is equipped with tachometer for detecting deformation of belt.
