FIELD: mining; designed for application in mines prone to rock bursts. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic prop includes body, rod, piston located on rod lower end, member in the form of sleeve with diaphragm and slide valve closing cavity of hydraulic prop, shock absorber installed under hydraulic prop. Rod is hollow with windows in its wall. Sleeve is installed immovably in rod cavity, conical seat made on sleeve end facing cavity of hydraulic prop. Diaphragm is rigidly connected to sleeve end facing rod cavity. Slide valve is secured to diaphragm from side of hydraulic prop cavity and installed for sliding in sleeve and has longitudinal recesses on cylindrical surface and conical belt on end facing cavity of hydraulic prop. EFFECT: higher reliability of protection of hydraulic prop from damage by rock bursts due to increased quick response and fullness of diaphragm opening for fluid drain from hydraulic prop. 2 dwg
