FIELD: electrical engineering; regulation and control of power triac (thyristor) rectifier units. SUBSTANCE: device has current pulse shaping amplifiers for controlling triacs (thyristors), controlled rectifier built around operational amplifier, polarity-reversal pulse shaper, differentiating circuit, all connected in series, and isolating capacitors. Input of shaping amplifier built around operational amplifier is connected to ac mains which also supplies with power group of triacs; output of control pulse shaper is connected to input of controlled triac switches through isolating capacitors C1-Cn whose capacitance is found from equality C = τ/2πXc, where τ is trigger pulse length; Xc is capacitor reactance at trigger frequency.
