FIELD: audio- frequency power amplifiers. SUBSTANCE: amplifier (Fig. 1) does not bring in switching distortions due to introduction of polarity splitter 2 that divides linear signal into two half-waves applied to inputs of amplifier arms. These half-wave signals amplified by arms 3,5 and 4,6 are summed up across load 3 with the result that original waveform of signal is recovered. Amplifier has narrow-band output stage which functions to reduce high-frequency harmonics in amplifier output signal and input current and to automatically adapt it to load in case of changes in its capacitive component within wide range. Newly introduced in amplifier is high-precision polarity splitter (Fig. 2) which ensures low level of harmonics in amplifier input current. EFFECT: reduced harmonic, intermodulation, and transient distortions, improved electromagnetic compatibility of amplifier. 7 cl, 5 dwg
