FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes parallel amplification of signals in first and second amplifier channels followed by shaping output difference signal from amplified ones. Quiescent currents I01 of first-channel amplifying component are set to be higher than quiescent current I02 of second-channel amplifying component. In the process either first-channel input signal is attenuated by K1 times when using bipolar transistors, or second-channel signal is attenuated by K2 times when using tubes and field-effect transistors, or second-cannel output signal is attenuated by K3 times in latter of mentioned cases: where n , m are numbers of parallel-connected amplifying components (or their pairs in case of push-pull operation) of first and second channels, respectively; α = 2 for field-effect transistor, α = 3/2 for tubes.
EFFECT: reduced nonlinear distortions due to correction of third harmonic and reduction of higher harmonics.
