FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to waste waters formed, for instance, in galvanic or similar production shops. Method is based on sorption of heavy metal ions on naturally occurring insoluble sorbent, in particular pyrite preliminarily concentrated to 84-96% and having particle size up to 160 mcm. Resulting sorption product is suitable for long-time storage and transportation. EFFECT: reduced treatment expenses. 1 tbl
