FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of supply and discharge of cleaned cooling air from turbogenerator with open cooling system gas turbine drive in which coolant-air designed for cooling active and frame members of turbogenerator is supplied from outside and is discharged outside after use. According to proposed method, cooling of active and frame members of turbogenerator is provided by air flow sucked out in inertia cleaning unit of complex air preparation device is amount of 8-20% of amount of air passing through device with subsequent after-cleaning of air in straight-flow cyclone and delivery of cleaned air into turbogenerator along pipeline by means of high-pressure electric fan. Discharge of-air from turbogenerator is provided by means of fans installed on rotor of turbogenerator along pipeline either into atmosphere or into receiving unit of complex air preparation device through electrically operated gate switched on by signal of ice detector. Head of air in pipeline before air getting into heating system of receiving unit of complex air preparation device is provided through injector operating on compressed air from gas turbine drive. EFFECT: simplified design of turbogenerator cooling unit, increased efficiency and improved reliability both of turbogenerator and entire gas turbine plant. 2 cl, 1 dwg
