FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tests of diesel engine fuel devices. According to proposed method fuel injection angle is determined by fuel pressure electric pulse transmitted from nozzle, said pulse being obtained through action of pressure of fuel fed by corresponding nozzle onto diaphragm through adjusting screw, piezoelectric element and electric signal detector, and angle of injection is read from flywheel scale. Proposed test stand for adjusting fuel devices has pulse recorder mounted on measuring unit. Pulse recorder is made in form of mounting cylinder with diaphragm cup arranged in lower part, fixing dielectric with piezoelectric element, adjusting screw and electric signal detector coaxial cable. Mounting cylinder has protective cover enclosing diaphragm cup from below. Diaphragm cup is provided with side shelves arranged under lower edge of mounting cylinder.
