DEVICE FOR MEASUREMENT OF SMALL VOLUMES AND LOW FLOW RATES OF GAS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2190194 C1

FIELD: measurement of small volumes and flow rates of gases under noise and vibration conditions. SUBSTANCE: reservoir is secured on shock absorbers mounted on base. Membrane of device and sensitive element of sensor are mechanically connected by means of rod and are placed in housing acoustically isolated from reservoir by shock absorbing gasket. Fitted at gas inlet is valve reducing level of acoustic noise. High-pass and low-pass filters are connected to amplifier circuit. Said structural members and couplings provide for minimum noise voltage at amplifier output. Valid signal pulses are amplified and are shaped by univibrator and are furnished to digital instrument for example frequency meter working as pulse (volume) counter or indicator of number of pulse per minute (flow rate). Automatic control, indication and remote data transmission system may be actuated from frequency meter numerical code output. EFFECT: enhanced resistance of device to acoustic noise. 3 cl, 1 dwg
