SUBSTANCE: battery has heating element and foam-plastic heat insulator whose heat conductivity is 0.033 W/(m x K) disposed between monoblock and external tank inside battery which makes the latter suitable for operation at temperatures ranging between minus 30 and minus 50 C. Foam plastic heat insulation to external tank thickness ratio should be 1.25-1 to prevent heat dissipation into environment and to reduce battery warm-up period.
