FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: plant in a closed refrigerant circuit has a compressor, oil eliminator, condenser, receiver, expansion valve and an evaporator, as well as a cold accumulator in the form of a tank filled with water and heat pipes, whose upper parts are positioned in the evaporator, and the lower parts are located in the tank. The heat pipes are located between the headers, and on the surface of each of them at height H hot exceeding 2/3 of the height of the heat pipes fastened is the heat exchange surface that is made of hollow sections of the same type connected to the headers joined to the refrigerant circuit. The heat pipes are spaced at L1 = Dpipe+2•B+2δ•к, the axes of the headers are positioned at distances L2 = Dpipe/2+Dhead+B+δ, relative to the pipe axes, where Dpipe - is outside diameter of the heat pipe, mm; Dhead - is the header diameter, mm; δ is thickness of the permissible ice layer, mm; K is the safety factor equal to 1.2; B is thickness of the hollow heat exchange section, mm.
