FIELD: automatization of test and control over flow rate of liquid and gaseous substances in technological processes in chemical, oil and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: uninterrupted various-frequency oscillations are transmitted in opposition over acoustic channel. Second harmonics of main and auxiliary frequencies are extracted across outputs of both directions, phase difference is found for them and is employed to judge about value of flow rate. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity and reliability of measurement of flow rate by way of additional measurement of phase difference on second harmonic of auxiliary frequency. 1 dwg
