FIELD: processes and equipment for turning in lathes, namely collet chucks. SUBSTANCE: collet chuck includes flange, control lever, hinged support, clamping and unclamping mechanism having movable sleeve and changeable clamp. Flange of chuck is provided with levers whose leading ends alternatively engage with conic and cylindrical surfaces of cylinder stationary mounted on movable sleeve engaging with cone of changeable clamp. Said cylinder is movably joined with slide block that is rigidly mounted on control lever. Rear ends of levers engage with end face of movable sleeve. Slide block is rigidly joined with control lever coupled with articulation joint and with support. EFFECT: simplified reduced-cost design. 2 dwg
