FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed bridge stacker crane controlled from floor by operator by means of suspended push-button control station has bridge, trolley mounted on bridge to slewing circle of which column is connected, and load lifter moving along column by means of cable or chain drive. Load lifter is carriage with fork for gripping the load. Load lifter has drive speed meter installed on high-speed shaft of said drive reduction gear and measuring number of revolutions in each moment of time which is converted by electronic converter including microprocessor and light digital display into digital code indicating height of lifting of grip fork. Said display is installed on suspended push-button control station. EFFECT: improved convenience in operation. 5 dwg
