FIELD: water aeration units; biological cleaning of sewage, preparation of potable water and aeration of water in water basins. SUBSTANCE: water is fed to nozzle 3 under pressure via pipe line 1; in nozzle, water is accelerated to high vacuum in mixing chamber 5 and vacuum cavity 15. Atmospheric air enters working chamber 13 through air intake pipe line 2, charging cavity 12, pipe line 14 and throttle valve 19. As soon as preset pressure has been built up in cavity 13, valve moves to extreme left-hand position under action of difference in forces of air pressure exerted on piston simultaneously shutting-off pipe line 14 and opening holes 6 through which air escapes from cavity 13 to mixing chamber 5 at high velocity, thus performing dispersion of water drops. After escape of air from cavity 13, valve moves to the right under action of spring 18 and pressure of air exerted on left-hand butt of piston 9; valve rests against seat 11 and is tightly pressed to sealing ring 20 by gate 10. Then cycle is repeated. EFFECT: intensification of air dissolving process due to pulse aeration at high vacuum; enhanced reliability; simplified operating procedure. 4 cl, 2 dwg
