FIELD: mechanical engineering; roller gear trains. SUBSTANCE: proposed roller gear train includes gear wheels with circular profiled of tooth spaces of gear wheels. End separators with flexible inserts are located on two sides of one of wheels. Toroidal rollers-teeth are received by spaces of this wheel. Ring embraces rollersteeth in center of wheel. Gear train is provided with spring-loaded plates mounted on ring and with locking unit which consists of pins and sleeves where springs and rods are located. This device is used for rigid coupling between load-bearing ring and ring at reverse. EFFECT: enhanced smoothness of operation; reduced level of noise; enhanced durability of gear train. 3 dwg
