FIELD: electrochemical and mechanical working of ducts. SUBSTANCE: deforming broach of combination type tool-electrode is in the form of sleeve having on its lateral surface slit inclined relative to axis of sleeve. Broach may close worked duct along its perimeter by means of contact surface of sleeve. Inner cavity of sleeve is filled with magnetic rheological liquid. Additional electrode is arranged in said cavity and it is connected with positive pole of low-voltage electric current source. Upon applying electric current rheological liquid is solidified for fixing desired diameter of sleeve. With use of such apparatus it is possible to work duct of different diameters.
