FIELD: rubber industry; rubber and brass- plated metal cords used as rubber adhesion activators. SUBSTANCE: adhesion activator contains cobalt oxide (+2) or nickel oxide (+2), molybdenum oxide (+6) applied on inorganic base made from aluminum or silicon oxides at specific surface equal to 100 sq. m/g at content of cobalt or nickel oxides of 2-7% and molybdenum oxides of 5-10%; it additionally contains organic or inorganic acid in the amount of 0.1-1 g per gram of oxide mixture.
