QUICK-RELEASE CONNECTION DEVICE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: machine engineering, namely quick-release catch-action devices. SUBSTANCE: device includes housing, spring-loaded catches, rod with head, releasing sleeve and spring-loaded knocking out member. Each spring-loaded catch is movably mounted on axle fixed in housing and it has three cone surfaces: inlet, releasing and holding ones, shoulder and oval opening for placing limiting pin secured to housing. Head of rod is in the form of circular truncated cone whose lateral surface engages at joining with inlet cone surfaces of spring-loaded catches; its lower base engages in joined state with shoulders of spring-loaded catches and to its upper base stem with head is secured. Above mentioned releasing sleeve is movably mounted on said stem with possibility of motion along axis of said stem. Sleeve is in the form of cylinder with cone protrusion near its upper base engaging at disconnection with releasing and holding cone surfaces of spring-loaded catches. Simultaneously spring-loaded knocking out member engages with head of stem. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, quick action, simplified use of device, automatic return of device to initial state after disconnection. 3 cl, 4 dwg
