SUBSTANCE: circuit breaker with its contact system and measuring element incorporating threshold element whose output is connected to final element (independent electromagnetic release) has its measuring element made in the form of temperature sensor whose active time is comparable with operating time of overcurrent protective gear responding to short circuit and installed on current-conducting core of outgoing feeder; threshold element setting temperature θ1 is chosen not to exceed maximum permissible temperature of current-conducting core passing short-circuit currents for short time.
