FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding beet root heap; providing interaction of beet root heap with separating working members; separating contaminants. Root separation occurs in the process of ejecting heap by means of ejector and further in the process of transportation by means auger. Small and average size contaminants are separated in upper and lower directions by means of ejector as well as by auger.
