METHOD OF FEEDING PLANTS IN GREENHOUSES WITH CARBON DIOXIDE AND NITROGENOUS FERTILIZERS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying air and gas mixture from animal house into greenhouse through pipelines and aeration drainage system. Aeration drainage volume for feeding with carbon dioxide is determined from formula: V=(T_d•G_1K•N•h)/(1,25•F•T_f)=(G•h)/(1,25•F•T_f),, cu. mm, where T_d is 24 hours, i.e. number of hours a day; G is release of carbon dioxide per day, kg; N is number of animals in animal farm; G_1k is release of carbon dioxide by one animal, kg/hour; F is norm of additional feeding of plants in greenhouses with carbon dioxide, kg/sq.m/hour; T_f time of additional feeding of plants with carbon dioxide during light time of day - 4-6 hours. Volume of nitrogenous fertilizers feeding is determined from formula: V= [(0.5-0.75)•G•T_V•h)/(0,3•C•n), cu.m, where V is volume of soil layer in greenhouse, cu.m; G is content of ammonia in vent outbursts of animal house produced during day, kg; Tv is vegetative time of growing plants in greenhouse, days; h is thickness of soil layer in greenhouse, m; C is consumption of nitrogen by one plant during vegetation time (Tv days), kg/pc; n is number of plants growing on 1 sq. m of greenhouse, pc/sq.m. Final volume of soil layer is calculated on the basis of maximal value of obtained volumes. EFFECT: increased efficiency and utilization of vent outbursts of animal houses for feeding plants in greenhouses.
