FIELD: agricultural construction. SUBSTANCE: greenhouse has carcass, light-permeable enclosure, baffle-type light and heat regulating screen. Baffles are made from high-strength plastic aluminum-clad film and attached to carcass for rotation around their longitudinal axes. Baffle tapes 4 are fixed to supporting device by self-wedging grips and torsion suspensions eliminating jamming during rotation and having low rotational resistance. Baffle tape rotating device has pulling string 14 and flexible rotating threads 17 attached to pulling string 14 and embracing with single turn rotating rollers 13 loosely put onto spindles 7 of rotating device. During longitudinal displacement of pulling string 14 and rotating threads 17 rollers 13 turn to impart rotational motion to baffle tapes 4 by means of rod-type carriers 20. Synchronous rotation of opposite ends of baffle tapes is enabled by means of shaft 15 of rotating device, with shaft extending from one end of baffle tape to another end. Shaft 15 is driven for rotation by means of electric drive 21 through automatic rotation control system depending on predetermined mode: at night screen is completely closed (baffle tapes define continuous curtain) to reduce power consumed for heating greenhouse by 15-20%. In the daytime baffles automatically rotate depending on sun altitude to provide for maximal natural illumination in greenhouse. Greenhouse of such construction is used for growing plants in protected ground. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced power consumption. 2 cl, 4 dwg
