FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves steaming reactive masses; settling arsenic in the form of oxide by successively adding hydrochloric and sulfuric acids. Optimal settling process conditions: hydrochloric acid is introduced in an amount required for obtaining final reaction acidity of 7; sulfuric acid is introduced in an amount required for obtaining final acidity of medium of 1-5; final stage of arsenic oxide settling process is conducted at temperature less than or equal to 25 C.
