METHOD OF CONCENTRATING MASSIVE SULFIDE COPPER AND/OR COPPER-ZINC AND/OR PYRITIC ORES Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: ore flotation; applicable in processing of massive sulfide ores of nonferrous metals, particularly, massive sulfide copper and copper-zinc ores. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of ore for flotation and successive straight selective flotation of valuable minerals with use of flotation reagents-regulators and collector in the form of butyl xanthate, and frothing agent in the form of flotation reagent FSC-10-S-collector possessing frothing properties and presenting a mixture of alcohols, aldehydes and heterocyclic nitrogen bases with hexatomic heterocycle taken in weight ratio, %: 40-50, 25-35, 20-25, respectively, with different ratio of butyl xanthate and FSV-10-S. In this case, dosing of reagent is performed to cycle of ore grinding and/or in the course of flotation process.
