DEICER LIQUID (VARIANTS) Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2192443 C1

FIELD: compositions of deicer liquids. SUBSTANCE: by the first variant deicer liquid comprises glycol, surface-active substance, corrosion inhibitor and water. As surface-active substance the liquid comprises technical mixture of polyethylene glycol esters of monoalkylphenols based on propylene trimers of the following composition: C9H19C6H4O(C2H4O)nH, where n is an averaged number of ethylene oxides moles added to one mole of alkylphenols; n = 9-12 and as corrosion inhibitor the liquid comprises alkaline metal hydrogen phosphate in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: glycol, 30-95; technical mixture of polyethylene glycol esters of monoalkyl- -phenols based on propylene trimers, 0.2-0.3; alkaline metal hydrogen phosphate, 0.5-1.5; water up to 100. By the second variant invention proposes the deicer liquid comprising alkylene polyol, alkaline metal hydrogen phosphate, benzenesulfonate of methyldiethylaminomethyl derivatives of saturated alcohol diethylene glycol esters, stearic acid and water comprising surface-active substance in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: alkylene polyol, 50-95; benzene sulfonate of methyldiethylaminomethyl derivatives of saturated alcohol diethylene glycol esters, 0.3-0.5; stearic acid, 0.1-0.2; alkaline metal hydrogen phosphate, 0.5-1.5; surface-active substance, 0.3-0.4; water up to 100. As surface-active substance the liquid comprises technical mixture of polyethylene glycol esters of monoalkylphenols based on propylene trimers of the following compositions: C9H19C6H4O(C2H4O)nH, where n is an averaged number of ethylene oxide moles added to one mole of alkylphenols; n = 9-12. Invention provides development of two variants of the deicer liquid showing the enhanced deicer properties. Deicer liquids are used for removal of glacial deposits (hoarfrost, rime, snow, ice) from airplane surface and prevention of repeated icing under land-based conditions in preflight preparing airplane up to its flight off. EFFECT: improved properties of deicer liquid. 6 cl, 2 tbl, 8 ex
