FIELD: well drilling by submersible hydraulic hammers. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of liquid working agent through drill pipe string to hydraulic hammer working chamber. Amount of supplied liquid is determined in compliance with relationship given in the invention description. Raffling synchronizer pipe string, synchronizer-wave guide with channel and buffling members located at its upper and lower ends, upper working chamber of hydraulic hammer with valve, piston-striker and cylinder. Raffling members present surfaces separating cross-sections of synchronizer-wave guide channel and correspondingly of working chamber and drill pipes. Ratio of diameter of synchronizer-wave guide channel between baffling members to its length is maintained within value given in the invention description. EFFECT: increased efficiency and extended fields of application of hydropercussion drilling. 8 cl, 6 dwg
