FIELD: hole drilling. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic hammer incorporates hydraulic wave deflector, hollow cylindrical housing accommodating valve-striker and stepped anvil with dismountable saddle. Valve-striker has rod supporting spring-loaded movable piston. Mounted on its top end is limiter spring-loaded relative piston. Mounted on its top end is limiter spring-loaded relative to piston. Locking member of striker piston is tapered. Frequency of percussion pulses is determined by adjusting shims disposed between valve locking member and lower end face of piston surface. Parts of valve-striker form annular stepped chamber, head end of which is hydraulically associated with well clearance. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
