FIELD: measurement technology; precision converters for mechanical magnitudes. SUBSTANCE: proposed meter includes two inductance coils connected differentially to AC circuit. Ferromagnetic core is located coaxially relative to inductance coils for longitudinal motion relative to them. Insulated winding made from electric conductor is located on side surface of core; ends of electric conductor are insulated from any outside electric circuit. Such winding increases mutual inductance coefficient and enhanced sensitivity of meter per unit of linear displacement of ferromagnetic core and coils.
