FIELD: image identification in fingerprinting using capacitive pickups. SUBSTANCE: for image identification use is made of raster configuration of conductors (metering electrodes) supplemented with support electrodes both intercoupled through capacitive coupling. Support electrodes are used to determine mean capacitance for comparing it with capacitances measured by metering electrodes; the latter just form read- out image divided into pixels corresponding to raster.
