SUBSTANCE: device has series-connected fine attenuator, first adjustable-parameter unit, coarse attenuator, second adjustable-parameter unit, detector, analog-to- digital converter, control unit connected to control inputs of analog-to- digital converter, to first and second adjustable-parameter units, first and second control members connected to control inputs of fine and coarse attenuators, input of fine attenuator being used as device input and output of second adjustable-parameter unit, as device output. First and second computer units, first and second switches, upper- and lower-limit comparators, functional converter, and OR circuit incorporated in device provide for conducting concurrent computation procedures, fine adjustment of output level being made in case of output-signal level drift beyond desired limits using for the purpose control signal only. EFFECT: enhanced speed and precision of output signal level control in complex broadband adjustable-parameters channels such as radio transmitter exciters. 1 dwg
