FIELD: devices for cooling and lubricating cutting zone at metal cutting. SUBSTANCE: jet nozzle includes cylindrical housing made of dielectric material. Central and annular electrodes made of the same material are arranged in cylindrical housing and they are connected to electric current source. System of permanent magnets is placed inside housing in such a way that inner diameter of each subsequent magnet d(n+1) is determined as d(n+1)=(0.8-0.85)dn, where dn is diameter of previous magnet. Electrodes are in the form of bodies of revolution. Cross section areas of said bodies by parallel planes in working zone monotonically vary. EFFECT: improved design providing enhanced efficiency of cooling due to continuous action upon cutting fluid by means of direct electric current and magnetization. 3 dwg
