FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of boosting gas turbine engine at supersonic speeds comes to simultaneously increasing delivery of air and fuel into main combustion chamber. Increased of said rates is provided by decreasing part of air bypassed behind last stage of compressor whose value at takeoff is at least 10% of total consumption of air. EFFECT: increased thrust of gas turbine engine. 1 dwg
