FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: dashpot may be used in AC electromechanical devices for damping longitudinal and angular oscillations whose static or dynamic state is set by magnetic or electric fields of electromagnets or electrodes, respectively, supplied by AC. Dashpot is made in the form of two-terminal network containing rectifier with RC load. Connected in parallel to load are series-connected to each other resistor and capacitor and controlled by voltage active resistance, for example, in the form of transistor. In this case, point of connection of additional resistor and capacitor is connected to control input of active resistance. Time constant of additional RC circuit is selected larger than time constant of load RC circuit. EFFECT: higher quality of transition process of actuating member in electromechanical devices, simple design and low power consumption. 4 dwg
