FIELD: construction engineering; applicable in construction and repair of pipelines at landslide sections. SUBSTANCE: bellows of expansion joint is welded to branch pipes installed with annular clearance relative to pipe ends joined by expansion joint for possible axial displacement of bellows branch pipes. Pipe ends have stops. Located in annular gap is seal containing metal rings, metal balls installed between rings, sealing rings and stuffing between journal box and bottom box. With pipe displaced, bellows deform in axial or lateral direction. In this case, metal balls centralize branch pipes relative to ends of pipes that provides for reliable sealing.
