GAS BURNER FOR CRUDE OIL HEATING FURNACE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: heating of transported crude oil. SUBSTANCE: gas burner for crude oil heating furnace includes prechamber of fuel combustion, package of burners fitted with branch pipe feeding air. Prechamber is made fast to body of package of burners which uniaxially and partially enters prechamber of fuel combustion through its face surface. Face surface forms protrusions on which outside peepholes are arranged and protrusions for package of burners located on inner side of combustion chamber where ignition torch windows are located. Damper is installed inside branch pipe supplying air. Burners in package of burners are positioned in symmetry with reference to axis of package that is equipped with nozzles supplying air arranged tangentially. Each burner is fitted with gas-feeding branch pipe with valve and includes two members presenting small and large cylindrical-conical spaces made in single body. First member in path of gas flow is made fast to cylindrical part of second member with small base. 3 to 10 burners depending on volume of furnace are set in body of package of burners. Invention allows such structure of burner to be developed which operation does not depend on parameters of supply of gas and air for complete combustion of fuel and on possibility of control over process of fuel combustion which ensures stable operation of crude oil heating furnace.
