FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, design and method of operation of burners of furnace for heat treatment of metals. SUBSTANCE: burner with preliminary mixed gaseous fuel includes axially regulated gas-supplying pipeline located concentrically in burner body to supply oxidizer or some other gaseous fuel component to furnace combustion chamber. Axial change of position of air pipeline allows control of spreading of oxidizer in flame active zone to control, in this manner, the temperature of flame and working medium of combustion chamber and furnace. Flow mixer having a pair of spirally installed blades located in circular space between supplying pipeline and burner body to form turbulent rotation in preliminarily mixed flow to promote increased mixing of preliminarily prepared mixture. Gas supplying pipelines is controlled from outside and has sight device for visual observation of flame in furnace from the outside. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 14 cl, 2 dwg
