FIELD: rocket and space technology. SUBSTANCE: technique to stabilize motion of sea ballistic missile consists in that rotary plates of obturation belt positioned on tail compartment of missile are unfolded after exit of missile from launching tube to meet incoming water flow and are fixed mechanically when they achieve specified angular position with reference to body of missile. After exit of missile from water obturation belt is separated from missile to diminish resistance to further motion over boost phase of trajectory. Gear for implementation of technique includes obturation belt comprised of separate sections put on base attached to tail compartment of missile and rubber and metal plate hinged to it and resting with its free spring-loaded end against wall of launching tube. Each plate is attached to base by means of axle and two ears. Holes for interaction with locating arms positioned in body of base are made in ears. Invention makes it feasible to stabilize motion of missile over underwater run where it is subject to force effect caused by run, oscillation of submarine and sea. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
