FEED MIXING AND DISPENSING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hopper provided with discharge branch pipe equipped with gate and two spring-type conveyors positioned inside hopper along its longitudinal axis in guides. Apparatus is further equipped with hollow cylindrical baffle located inside end part of conveyor in discharge branch pipe and cone adjoining baffle and directed with its apex into hopper. Curved blades are fixed to surface of baffle conical part. Conveyors are equipped with reversing drive of adjustable rotational speed. Apparatus is adapted for storage and mixing of feed to provide for required homogeneity of prepared feed, as well as for dispensing of precise doses of succulent, fibrous and concentrated feeds in dry, slightly wetted and heavily wetted state.
