FIELD: recoverable space aircraft for delivery of payloads. SUBSTANCE: proposed orbital aircraft has oxygen and hydrogen propellant tanks. Hydrogen tank and engine plant are mounted on butts of oxygen tank. Payload compartment, wings and tail unit are mounted on lateral surface of oxygen tank. It is preferable that hydrogen tank has streamlined shape and diameter exceeding diameter of oxygen tank by 1.2 to 1.5 times. Axes of propellant tanks are shifted and their lower surfaces have common line-generatrix. EFFECT: improved aerodynamic and mass and centering characteristics of orbital aircraft; simplified construction. 4 cl, 3 dwg
