FIELD: mining; applicable in temporary support of arched mine workings by drilling and blasting method. SUBSTANCE: powered support of stull-walking type includes two side two-prop and middle four-prop units interconnected by support advance hydraulic rams, and lower supports and cappings of side units and also cappings of middle unit are connected with anchor hydraulic props by ball supports. Powered support also has base frame of middle part unit and additional hydraulic jacks. Mounted on base frame are supporting rollers and additional hydraulic jacks connected with supporting shoes by ball supports. Cappings of side and middle units are interconnected by cylindrical tongue-and-groove joint with additional hinges for limited turning of cappings in vertical plane and their displacement in horizontal plane together with support unit hydraulic props. Hydraulic prop cylinders of side support units may be interconnected by sliding ties for limited vertical motion relative to each other. Front and rear cappings of side and middle units may be interconnected by hinges with the help of protective sheets. EFFECT: reliable support of roof in face, and safety in operation. 3 cl, 2 dwg
