FIELD: mining; tongue-and-groove joint designed for joining and directed motion of cappings of neighboring units of powered support. SUBSTANCE: tongue-and-groove joint for cappings of temporary powered support includes hinges used for joining of neighboring cappings with tongue having cylindrical head and guide with cylindrical recess in which tongue head is installed for limited motion and mutual turning of neighboring cappings in vertical plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of support. Tongue-and-groove joint is distinguished by the fact that joint of tongue with capping is made in the form of double joint connected to capping by means of locking shaft for limited turning of tongue and capping round horizontal longitudinal axis.
