FIELD: toothed mechanism measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device used for checking geometry of toothed pairs, wheels, and gears by measuring them in two mutually perpendicular planes of projections has optical system disposed at supporting end of part under check by comparing measurement results with reference values which enables estimation of its geometric dimensions such as tooth profile of gears or toothed pairs. Analysis is made in analyzing unit supplied with signals from output of comparison circuit in electronic system of device.
