FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves cycles of accumulation of irrigation water in vessel under excessive pressure and preparing portion of chemical solutions combined with charging of spring-air type accumulator. Accumulator is adapted for dosing of rated volume of solution into water flow under pressure during irrigation cycle. Fertilizer solution dosing device is made in the form of spring-air type accumulator having hollow plunger with working volume regulating rod and hydraulically communicated with solution accumulating tank. Pipeline for connecting said tank to irrigation system headset has internal volume correlated with accumulator effective volume within the range of 0.5-0.9. Method and apparatus are used for application of mineral fertilizers, microelements, chemical ameliorants, herbicides and other pesticides with irrigation water. EFFECT: increased efficiency, provision for low-intensity dosing of chemicals into irrigation water flow without using additional energy sources and elimination of used water discharge process. 3 cl, 1 dwg
