FIELD: transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for handling aerial luggage. Device is arranged in transport passage with at least one branching conveyor adjoining the device. Device has tippers located one after the other in direction of transportation. To provide unloading of unit loads from container onto branching conveyor, each tipper is installed for turning to side around horizontal axis passing in direction of transportation, being installed on shifting mechanism. Said mechanisms are connected by driven traction member to form endless moving chain. Containers are made for connection with and disconnection from shifting mechanism moving in direction of transportation to provide taking the containers from feeding transport passage and conveying them to transport passage for directing them further on between transport passages. Connection and disconnection of containers is provided by means of two movable tippers. Containers in connected position rest on said movable tippers. Holders found on movable tippers are made in form of permanent magnets, and containers is made magnetic at least in zone of its support surface. To provide tipping motion of containers, each movable tipper, outside its axle, is hinge coupled with connecting rod orientated mainly vertically. Guide roller is installed on end of connecting rod pointed from movable tipper. To hold movable tippers in horizontal position guide roller is installed for movement in guide rail passing parallel to running rail. To turn movable tippers around axle, guide roller is installed for changing over to tipping rail by means of switch member. Tipping rail is installed with vertical displacement to guide rail.
