FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves concurrently exposing both carotid zones at the same time to magnetic infrared laser radiation with two fields on both sides. Exposure time is 1 min per each field, frequency is 50 Hz. Jugular zone has one field, exposure time is 2 min, frequency is 50 Hz. Suprapubic zone has one field, exposure time is 2 min, frequency is 5 Hz. Inguinal zone has one field, exposure time is 5 min, frequency is 5 Hz. Transrectal irradiation is also applied. Rectal electrode is used for performing transrectal irradiation. It has radiating area of 11.3 cm² (one field). Frequency is 1000Hz, exposure time is 5 min. Radiation treatment course is 7-10 treatments long. Pauses between treatments are 24 h long. Beta carotene, ascorbic acid and alphatocopherol at a daily doses of 7.5 mg, 75 mg and 37.5 mg as Cascatol preparation is additionally administered for 20-30 days, respectively.
