FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention related to suspensions of wheels with dynamically changing elasticity or rigidity. According to invention, suspension 51 of vehicle wheels has coil spring 52 and flexible holder 53 which provides, in operating position, a stressed state of part of spring 52 holding it compressed to get characteristic with different values of rigidity and point of bending close to running operating position. In phase of compression, entire coil spring 52 is compressed, while in phase of extension, only non-stressed part of spring 52 is extended. Entire suspension 51 is characterized by asymmetry with rigidity at extension exceeding rigidity at compression. Each holder 53 has two fasteners at one side, one of fasteners 54 being coupled with one coil spring 52 or with its part, and other fastener 56 is either coupled with other coil of spring 52 or with its part, or with housing of shock absorber 59, and at other side, holder is provided with longitudinal member 55 deformable at compression and non-deformable at extension which is coupled with two fixing members. Holder 53 encloses at least two coils of coil spring 52 setting them is stressed state. EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability, facilitated servicing. 13 cl, 17 dwg
