FIELD: automobile industry.
SUBSTANCE: this invention covers automobile tires used as a solution to the consequences of tire shock to any road obstacles, i.e. pitfalls or edge stones. In this case the following happens: a wall of a pneumatic tire between its top and a flanged lip is squeezed between a protrusion formed by out-of-board rim shoulder and an external obstacle, when a tread shocked to an obstacle causes overlapping of the internal pneumatic cavity, thus immediately resulting into the stress of the enhanced dynamic flattening vertical to pneumatic tire wall which can cause break of an amplifying element. Elastically deformed protection element with enhanced modulus of rigidity in the directions of these stresses is applied for at least their partial decrease, i.e. by means of application of a rubber cover with notches at the inner wall of the pneumatic tire.
EFFECT: enhanced resistivity of a tire impacted by a road obstacle.
