FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed asymmetrical current collector for electric rolling stock consists of base, pneumatic drive engaging with articulated carrying lever and upper frame on which carriages with pans are mounted, frame being coupled by hinge guide with base, and also carriage synchronization tie-rods and emergency lowering devices. Emergency lowering device has rod movable in axial direction with three radial grooves, and ball engaging with shutoff valve in pneumatic drive main line through transfer unit. The latter is made in form of double-arm lever, one arm of which interacts with ball and other arm, with shutoff valve mounted on carrying lever before hinge joint. Width of middle groove on rod exceeds diameter of ball. EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability in emergency. 3 dwg
