FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to current collectors of electric trains and it is designed for use on motor cars of electric trains and electric locomotives. Proposed asymmetrical current collector has current-collecting unit with spring-loaded pan installed on semipantograph. Lower movable frame of semipantograph is hinge-coupled with insulated base, torsional cushioning system and lift/lower mechanism. Upper movable frame is hinge-coupled with lower frame and, through lower tie-rod, with base. Upper tie-rod is hinge-connected by one end with lower frame, and by other end, with carriage of current-collecting unit on end of upper frame. Cushioning system is made in from of one torsion bar parallel to axis of hinge connection of lower frame with base and coupled by one end with base and by other end through linked tie-rod, with lever in form of cam arranged on lower movable frame. Torsion bar has energy capacity sufficient to overcome resistance when lifting movable parts of current collector and pressing current collecting unit with preset force to contact wire of power system. Lift/lower mechanism is made for overcoming indicated energy capacity of torsion bar and holding current collector with preset in folded state.
EFFECT: improved quality of current collection.
